Since the company was founded in 2000, Huifeng has gained a dominant position in the Chinese rutin market.  Currently only Brazil and China produce rutin and only Huifeng holds the Chinese patent for the most efficient production method and is the only GMP-approved Chinese vendor of diosmin.  Huifeng developed diosmin and l-rhamnose production methods in 2005 and has new production facilities that came on line in late 2006. Huifeng’s Chinese competition is several years behind.  A demand for plant extracts, as pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredients and food/beverage additives, is growing in all Huifeng endmarkets.
